It was also Angelina's first public engagement (now I am making them sound like royalty) since the announcement of her double mastectomy so there was of course, an awful lot of press interest and the press areas were full to bursting. It was great to see such huge public support for her during must what have been a very difficult time.
They looked very happy and relaxed together.
After the premiere (whilst the film was showing), we had a long wait until the free MUSE concert in Horse Guards Parade that was laid on instead of a party. The venue was packed (I have read reports of 15,000 attendees but I cannot verify that).
MUSE were their usual excellent selves and the only negative part of the evening was that fact that we only had one song with them on stage in which to photograph.
Although this sounds corny, walking down Whitehall with the sound of MUSE bouncing between all the wonderful government buildings it did sort of make me think how great London is and how proud I am to call it my home city.
